It's "The Mother Church," a seemingly timeless sanctuary for musical connection and expression. Anyone who is a genuine musical artist has performed here. Seeing a concert here feels like joining a family gathering. It's small enough to feel included in every note and breath, but big enough to give you room to experience awe and wonder.

Evening was "brisk" but spent a wonderful evening with several thousand of my newest friends at the "Amy Grant/Vince Gill" Christmas show on 12/10/2025. The show was 2 1/2 hours long, with an intermission, and we are SO GLAD we attended. The venue was lit up with special attention to the stained glass windows emitting a soft holiday glow! The stage work and lighting was subdued yet full of holiday cheer! The venue itself was clean and sparse - just as a Mother Church should be. Attendees were friendly, talkative, respectful - and not a sole left prior to intermission. The bathrooms were clean but very busy. The bar staff on the second floor were very friendly and accommodating. The evening ended with a sing-along for all of the attendees - many of whom were adults, seniors and retirees unaccompanied by young children. It was a show for adults performed by VERY talented adults! My wife and I came to Nashville just to attend the Christmas Show!! We walked away very happy and we intend to come again next year, for more than one day next time, so we can see more of Nashville. Prior to the show, we visited the rowdy and raucous 2nd Avenue venues/bars. We even visited what was the WildHorse Saloon and had lunch at Mel's diner. One show comment: The piano player, for Amy Grant was very good - so good, in fact, that he tended to drown out several of Amy's numbers. Her voice may not be as strong as it was 30 years ago - but, his strong piano playing masked what voice she did have. He didn't do it all of the time but it is something to inspect. Pictures of the event will be forthcoming in the next 24 hours.

I like the setup and seating of the venue. The layout makes for an intimate experience with the artist. We had a great time seeing Miguel.
